As seen on our stall in Covent Garden...
THE PROCESS OF CREATION...
At first, everything is mentally visualised, like a 3D, clearly seen in each detail. Next, it’s put onto paper in the most absurd way, a way that only Magda can understand. From there, the facts that matter, such as measurements, practicality, and possibilities, come into place. Magda always sits on an idea for a while, watches similar products and solutions, and considers how and why she wants to use the products. It’s a split-second between vision and a new design, the decision of making products.
Once it’s time, it’s time. She sits and cuts every single part of the bag separately, measures every square and every angle, hand picks every element, and decides on every stitch.
At this stage of assembling, the talent of over obsessing over perfect stitching comes into play. There is no space for “whatever” or “nobody will notice.” It’s either perfect or it is not, all thanks to the high standards of Renata. She sees it all; she knows how to make it unique; and she puts all her passion into every piece.
As a finished product, they are not just bags; they are unique elements of art, statement fashion pieces, full of simplicity and practicality, with soul in each of them.
